Ring width, titanium or tungsten grade, inlay type, gemstone selection, finish, engraving, and other features, are customizable. All products come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Titanium Aircraft Grades
(6Al-4V tensile strength up to 150,000 psi) and (6Al-6V-2S higher tensile strength up to 180,000 psi) Titanium is an extremely light weight metal, yet very strong. Not considered a precious metal. Titanium is a modern metal in the jewelry industry; its color when polished is in between platinum and white gold. It will never dent or bend out of shape. It is hypo-allergenic and non corrosive. Over time it may develop small surface scratches that are very easily buffed out using a cotton buffing wheel. (for more info see Titanium Grades)

Tungsten Alloys
(Tungsten 90%, Ni 7%, Fe 3% tensile strength up to 145,000 psi) Tungsten is a very heavy metal, very brittle. Tungsten is a new metal to the jewelry trade. Its weight is comparable to that of platinum. It is very strong, yet may shatter with high impact. It will not bend out of shape. The color of Tungsten is a dark grey. It is not necessarily hypo allergenic, and may oxidize if exposed to certain cleaning agents. Over time it can develop small surface scratches that are very easily buffed out. (for more info see Tungsten facts)

Inlays: 950 Silver, 18K Yellow, Pink and White Gold and Platinum 900

Platinum 900 (tensile strength up to 20,000psi)
Platinum is a very heavy precious metal which retains its high luster polish. It is a traditional and classic metal used in the creation of wedding rings. Although being quite heavy it is fairly soft. It can dent. Scratches can be deep, but are possible to be buffed out.

Yellow Gold (tensile strength up to 18,000psi)
18k Yellow gold, is made up of 75% gold and is alloyed with other metals which make it strong enough to withstand every-day wear. 14K Yellow gold is used on our Sculpted models, 14K is softer than 18K gold, and this allows it to be machined with patterned carving.

White Gold (tensile strength up to 18,000psi)
18k White gold, is made up of 75% gold and is alloyed with other metals which make it strong enough to withstand every-day wear.

Pink Gold (tensile strength up to 18,000psi)
18K Pink Gold, is made up of 75% gold and is alloyed with other metals which make it strong enough to withstand every-day wear. Pink gold is alloyed with copper to add the pretty pink tone.

950 Silver
At Titanium Era we use Fine Silver, 958 - 95.8 percent pure silver. Silver is a very soft metal and easily scratches. It will tarnish over time.

Natural Gemstones
Natural gemstones have long fascinated people with the appeal of their pure vibrant colors and play of light. Their rarity, durability and hardness make them very desirable and valuable. Titanium Era offers a variety of natural gemstones to choose from. They are carefully selected from qualified suppliers for best price/quality ratio. Our selection is comprised of stones with enough hardness and solid molecular structure to be safely set in a titanium tension ring. Shape availability is limited to round cut and square cut gemstones. Please note that diamonds and gemstones are not refundable.

Diamonds
We offer round cut diamonds for all our tension settings shown with round cut stones. The diamond price is not included in the ring price. You must choose the diamond from the stone section list on the ring order form. The price will be added. We purchase our diamonds from many local gemhouses. We do our best to choose the best quality stone for the price. All diamonds are purchased sealed. Titanium Era must first confirm the availability of the diamond before we process the order. If diamond is not available, we will contact you.

Diamond reports and appraisals
A diamond report or certificate is the document which acknowledges the quality and measurement of the diamond (the 4 C’s). It is not an appraisal. There are several different institutes (GIA, AGS and many other ones). It is well known that you can find a slight difference in grading from one institute to the other. All our diamonds over 0.23 carat come with a certificate. We recommend having your diamond appraised once you receive it. It will enable you to insure your diamond with your house or car insurance. The choice of which metals to use for your ring is a matter of preference. They are all quite popular. It is important to decide what you want from the jewelry.
Do you want a ring that you always feel on your finger, heavy and solid, or would you prefer a lightweight ring?
Do you prefer a traditional metal or a more modern one?
Do you work with your hands a lot? If so, it might be better to go with one of the stronger dent resistant metals.
Or maybe you like the idea of uniting the modern with the traditional. Then you should take a look at the inlayed titanium or inlayed tungsten rings.
